Pocket Invitation

14 Oct

This has an elegant and custom look to it, thank you Oh So Beautiful Paper for sharing.  They made their invitation for a wedding, but could be used for any special occasion.  If I were cutting out a large number of fabric pieces I would use a ruler and rotary cutter,  they make a blade that has a pinky shear edge.  Then I would iron all the pieces in the pocket shape, stack they up, sew down one side of the stack then clip apart, re-stack and sew down the other.  If you use a shorter stitch you shouldn’t need to back-stitch.
