Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you get to spend the day with loves ones. I am grateful for all the wonderful things my family does for me. I am loved by my heavenly Father, have a terrific husband, outstanding sons that make me grateful everyday and family and friends that are always there for me. Life would not be complete without them.
When I want to relax and just craft I get out one of two things, polymer clay or paint ceramic houses. (I use them in my Christmas village) Over the weekend I got out my clay and made a cute little snowman. (My pictures didn’t turn out and I all ready gave him away.) Polymer clay is easy to work with, you can use paint, ink, rubber stamps, build canes, sand, polish or varnish the clay. You don’t need very many tools, most things you can find around the house. Though if you use a pan or knife for clay don’t use it for food again. It’s not something you want in your mouth. Also if you sand the clay wear a mask. So I found a couple of ideas for you to get inspiration.Country Woman Magazine
Who doesn’t love reindeer? They can be whimsical, elegant, funny, cute and they help Santa fly through the sky. When we lived in Alaska one of our favorite places to take visiting friends was the reindeer farm in Palmer. You get to walk among the reindeer and give them feed, and they really like to get fed. So my way of thinking you have to honor them with a few reindeer decorations around the house. From Craft Goodies

I thought this photo collection would make a cute Christmas gift. This would be a pretty easy project and a sure it with grandparents. You could even use wood instead of the canvases to change it up a bit. Check it out at Clean Scentsible.
What do you do when it is time to wrap a gift? Love those gift bags, a little bit of tissue and place it in the bag, Done! Will maybe I should put a little more effort or at least thought into it. Here are some great ideas, most of them simple and cost affective. The gift wrap should not cost more than the gift. Hope you enjoy them.

One other thing I do as many of my gifts get taken to different homes, I color coordinate them. So all for family A gets gifts wrapped in red with santas on it, family B gets gold with snowflakes etc… That way I am not so likely to leave a present behind when it is time to visit.
