Inktense blocks coloring fabric

18 Sep

I got out my Derwent Inktense blocks again and made a lunch bag for my sister-in-law’s birthday.  I stitched the hummingbird first, using the free-motion attachment on my machine and then came back in with the Inktense blocks and fabric medium to paint the bird.  I really like this method.lunchbag

Wow! That’s gorgeous. I’d not thought about the fact that Inktense could be used on fabric. I don’t work with textiles so it’s not something that crossed my mind. The hummingbird is delightful.

Thanks Laura. I like how easy it is to travel with the Inktense, I take them camping with me. Nice for those quite early mornings before everyone has gotten up.
