Day of Beauty

4 Mar

Sometimes a gal just needs a little pampering.  I found a few items that sound like fun, a good way to relax or just plain practical.  This first on is an easy fix to trying to find my make-up brushes in my drawer.  Irina’s Cute box has the DIY for this brush organizerI like spicy scents.  But I have a few friends that can’t handle the smell of most perfumes.  Here is a great idea from Henry Happened. It is made from natural items that most people would not be sensitive to.  I don’t need a man magnet, but don’t mind my guy coming in close for a sniff.vanilla body sprayLook at this wonderful sugar scrub from Social Graces.  Great to use to get rid of dry winter skin.  You can add any fragrance you like or leave it natural.  Makes a nice gift too! sugar scrub

Then my favorite way to relax, nice warm bath with a bath bomb.  Soapy Hollow has a great recipe to try, it really is the basic for most bath bombs.  I will warn you bath bombs do not always turn out the way you may want, but even if the crumbly and fall apart they are still great in the bath.  Just gets upsetting when you plan them for gifts and they don’t turn out as pretty round balls.soapyhollowRemember just because something is natural doesn’t mean it is good for your skin.  If it is something you haven’t tried before test out a small amount on the inside of your arm.  Better to have a small irritated patch than your whole body.

I love hosting a day of beauty with my friends! It’s so much fun. We do DIY recipes and at-home spa treatments.
