Hi: I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We spent our time with finger foods, board games, movies and family. Something we should do more than once a year. So now to get ready for the new year. I always feel like organizing this time of year. Maybe it has something to do with the state of my work space. I get carried away making things for Christmas and it also is a dumping ground for that quick clean-up when guest are coming over. Here are a couple of storage ideas that have caught my eye.
This first one is by Noodle Head, love the fabric choices. You could add a couple of c-hooks to the bottom for keys.
Tired of searching for those school papers and for the missing backpack? Here is a great ideas from Delightful Order.
Lowes has instructions for this very handy cart.
This next one is from A Pretty Cool Life, you could make this easy project from any cute little box or tin.
A couple of thoughts to organizing are look for something you are attracted to and think how you could use a small collection for storage. Baskets are always a good choice, but so are glass jars, crates, buckets and the list goes on. Color is great for getting items to look like they should go together. For example: binders, boxes and baskets all in coordinating colors make a bookshelf look neat and tidy.
