Santa Photo Holder

7 Jul

More Christmas in July.  I made this cute Santa photo holder.

You will need:
1″ wood cube
1 ½ “ wood heart
7″ of 14 gauge wire
Acrylic paint
Dimensional paint
Glue
I have included a template for the face in my photos.

Prime wood first.
Then paint:
Hat is red with white trim
Eyes blue with small white dot in corner of eye.
Face beige.
Cheeks, nose and mouth rose
Hair and mustache white.

I used dimensional paint to make the mustache and trim on hat stand out.

Cube is painted green with gold dimensional paint.

The wire is curled at the top with pliers gentle guide the curl.  Then I took a scrape piece of wood and hammered the wire, giving it a flat look.

Drill a hole in the top, middle of the wood block and add a little glue to the end of the wire and insert in hole.  Once dry, glue the Santa face to the front of the cube.
