DIY Watercolor Paint

21 May

This is great! A few things from your cupboard and you can have your own watercolor paint. (though it does take 2 days to dry)  Mix: 3 Tablespoons Baking Soda, 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch, 3 Tablespoons White Vinegar & 1 1/2  teaspoons Light Corn Syrup in a liquid measuring cup and stir.  Pour into a foam egg carton add drops of food coloring and mix with toothpick, wait 2 drys to dry to solid.  I didn’t have an egg carton so I used foil candy cups, old ice cube tray would work well too.  Wonderful to be able to mix your own colors.  Here are my results or check it out on .  And remember food coloring will stain your fingers!
