DIY Watercolor Paint

21 May

This is great! A few things from your cupboard and you can have your own watercolor paint. (though it does take 2 days to dry)  Mix: 3 Tablespoons Baking Soda, 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch, 3 Tablespoons White Vinegar & 1 1/2  teaspoons Light Corn Syrup in a liquid measuring cup and stir.  Pour into a foam egg carton add drops of food coloring and mix with toothpick, wait 2 drys to dry to solid.  I didn’t have an egg carton so I used foil candy cups, old ice cube tray would work well too.  Wonderful to be able to mix your own colors.  Here are my results or check it out on mykidsmake.com .  And remember food coloring will stain your fingers!
